The Short Version

Grand National Today does not sell your data, does not run behavioral advertising, and does not track you across the internet. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand how our content performs. That's it.

What We Collect

Analytics: We use Fathom Analytics, a privacy-first analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. Fathom is GDPR, CCPA, and PECR compliant. We see aggregate page views and referral sources — not individual user behavior.

Email (if applicable): If you subscribe to a newsletter or contact us via email, we store the email address you provide. We do not share, sell, or rent email addresses to third parties. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Server Logs: Our hosting provider (Vercel) processes standard server logs that may include IP addresses, browser type, and referring URLs. These logs are used for security and performance monitoring only and are not retained long-term.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising tracker. We do not set tracking cookies. We do not build user profiles. We do not sell data to advertisers or data brokers.

Children's Privacy

Grand National Today does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion under the CCPA. If you are an EU resident, you have rights under GDPR including access, correction, deletion, and data portability. In practice, we collect so little data that these rights rarely apply — but we honor them fully if they do.

We may update this policy if our practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly. We will not retroactively reduce your privacy protections.
