Hettinger Racing

Owner: Chris Hettinger | Base: Virginia | Series: CARS Tour LMSC, CARS Tour PLM, NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series | Manufacturer: Ford (LMSC), Chevrolet

Team Overview

Hettinger Racing has established itself as one of the CARS Tour's premier driver development operations, fielding as many as three cars in a single event while building a pipeline that has produced competitive drivers across multiple series. Owner Chris Hettinger made the team's name in grassroots late model racing and has expanded into the NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series.

The team brought a three-car armada to North Wilkesboro in 2025, demonstrating the kind of multi-car operation more commonly associated with national-series teams than regional touring series.

  • James Seeright — PLM. Making CARS Tour debut with Hettinger. Expands the team's reach into the Pro Late Model division.
