Overview

Anderson Motor Speedway is a roughly one-third-mile semi-banked asphalt oval on Irby Road in Williamston, South Carolina, in the upstate between Greenville and Anderson. It is a tight, weekly short track that runs stock car racing through the season and opens its gates to touring series — the zMAX CARS Tour Presented by SoundGear among them — along with drift events and other special programs.

The 2026 CARS Tour Visit (August 22)

Anderson is one of two South Carolina stops on the 2026 CARS Tour schedule, alongside Florence Motor Speedway. It hosts Race 10 on August 22, a Late Model Stock and Pro Late Model doubleheader. The visit carries a local angle: Anderson is the home track of CARS Tour regular Riley Gentry, whose father was a frequent Late Model Stock winner at the speedway.
