Rodney Dowless Jr. is a 14-year-old from Dix Hills, New York, who represents one of the most unusual geographic pipelines in the CARS Tour Pro Late Model division. Long Island is not exactly a hotbed of stock car racing, but Dowless has made the commitment to compete on the Southeast touring circuit.
Dowless progressed through the INEX Legend Cars program before stepping into Pro Late Models, and has appeared in multiple CARS Tour events including races at Southern National Motorsports Park, Orange County Speedway, and Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. At 14, he is among the youngest drivers in the PLM field, gaining valuable experience against the Southeast's top development talent.
