2026 Season Notes

Suárez is in his 10th NASCAR Cup Series season and his first with Spire Motorsports. The pairing — Suárez in the No. 7 Chevrolet, Ryan Sparks as crew chief — represents the start of a new chapter after five seasons at Trackhouse Racing in the No. 99 Chevrolet from 2021 through 2025.

In May 2026, Suárez and Sparks visited the 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, North Carolina, as part of NASCAR's Mission 600 program — the Memorial Day lead-up to the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. They toured the F-15E Strike Eagle, ran F-35 and F-22 simulators, and met with U.S. Air Force Airmen.

"I'm extremely proud to be a U.S. citizen. What they do, the amount of people, the amount of building, the amount of training, the amount of equipment that they all have is amazing."

— Daniel Suárez, Seymour Johnson AFB, May 14, 2026
